Pregnancy Calculator
Calculate due date, current week, trimester and key pregnancy milestones.
The pregnancy calculator helps expecting mothers and families track the pregnancy journey โ from calculating the expected due date to knowing the current week, trimester, and key milestones. Pregnancy typically lasts 40 weeks (280 days) from the first day of the last menstrual period (LMP). This tool provides instant answers to "How far along am I?" and "When is my due date?"
๐ How to Use This Calculator
Choose how you want to calculate: from your Last Menstrual Period (LMP) โ the standard medical method; from your conception date (approximately 14 days after LMP); or backwards from your known due date. Enter the relevant date and the calculator instantly shows your estimated due date, current pregnancy week and day, trimester, days remaining, and a progress bar showing how far along the pregnancy is. Key milestones are marked as completed (โ ) or upcoming (๐ฎ).
๐ก Key Facts & Information
A typical pregnancy has three trimesters: First trimester (weeks 1โ12) โ organ formation, morning sickness common; Second trimester (weeks 13โ27) โ most stable period, anatomy scan around week 20, baby movements felt (quickening); Third trimester (weeks 28โ40) โ rapid growth, preparation for delivery. "Full term" is defined as 37โ42 weeks. In India, the ANC (Antenatal Care) schedule includes at least 4 WHO-recommended visits. Key tests include NT scan (weeks 11โ13), anomaly scan (week 20), glucose tolerance test (weeks 24โ28), and Group B Strep test (weeks 36โ37). The Government of India's Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan provides free ANC check-ups at government health facilities.
